Family daycare coordinator
There are two family daycare service units in Lappeenranta: City Centre–Sammonlahti and Joutseno–Lauritsala. Both service units are run by a family daycare coordinator, who acts as the supervisor of the unit’s family daycare providers.
The work of the family daycare coordinator in the City Centre-Sammonlahti service unit also includes supervision of private family daycare. It is the municipality’s responsibility to supervise the provision of private family daycare services in accordance with the Act on Early Childhood Education and Care.
