Below is a description of the WebTimmi booking calendar access rights agreement.

Parties

Service provider: City of Lappeenranta. The administrative branches that use the system are the sports, youth and education services and the City Hall.

Customer: a private person, club or company that registers in the online booking system.

Entry into force of the agreement

For the customer, the agreement will enter into force once it has been approved and the information required for registration has been provided. The customer is registered when the service provider has given the customer a username and password. For the service provider, the agreement will come into force once the customer’s registration for the service has been approved.

Rights, responsibilities and obligations of the customer

The customer has the right to use the service in accordance with the terms and conditions of this agreement.

When registering for the service, the customer receives a personal username and password. The customer undertakes to keep them in a safe place and not disclose them to anyone else. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the username and password are not used by third parties. The customer is responsible for any actions taken with their username and password.

The customer is responsible for acquiring and maintaining the equipment, connections and software required for the use of the service.

The customer is responsible for all usage fees caused by the use of the service.

The customer may not include or link the service on their website without the permission of the service provider.

The customer is responsible for the protection of their computer, information system and other equipment.

Rights, responsibilities and obligations of the service provider

The service provider has the right to prevent the customer’s use of the service.

The service provider has the right to claim a booked time slot due to a competition or other event or if the time slot is sold as a regular booking. This will be communicated to the customer as early as possible.

The service provider has the right to change the content of the service. Any changes will be announced reasonably in advance on the website. The notification obligation does not apply to technical changes.

The service provider has the right to temporarily suspend the service. The service provider strives to ensure that the suspension does not last for an unnecessarily long time and that the harm caused by it is minimised.

The service provider is not responsible for the functionality of the system, outages caused by technical faults, maintenance or installation, telecommunications disruptions or any alteration or loss of data or equivalent that may result from them.

The service provider aims to ensure that the service meets reasonable data security requirements, but is not responsible for any damage caused to the customer by data security risks, such as computer viruses.

Service prices/fees

The customer pays the rent according to the administrative sector’s current price list for the bookings they have made.

If the booking is not cancelled, the customer is obliged to pay the rent for the booked facilities even if they are not used.

The bookings are invoiced afterwards.

If the customer does not pay for their bookings, the service provider has the right to block the use of the service.

Data protection

The service provider registers the information provided by the customer during registration in the customer database. In addition, customer-specific information is collected on the use of the service. The personal identity code is asked for any invoicing and identification of the person.

The data will be used for statistical research purposes and purposes related to the service. In addition, contact information is used for customer information and marketing purposes. The customer has the right to prohibit the sending of newsletters if they wish.

Customer data are not disclosed to a third party.

The data is stored in a secure way so that it can only be used only for the specified purposes.
