Lappeenranta's communications and marketing team is in charge of planning and coordinating its communications and marketing both in Finland and abroad. The team also disseminates information on the decisions of the central administration, City Council and City Board, and is in charge of the city's media relations.
The team coordinates the maintenance of the city's website and publishes brochures and resident magazines. The team acts as a link between the organisers of cultural events and the city, for example.
