Lingonberry trip 

Friday September 11th at 3.30-5.30 pm. 
Start from  Lappeen koulu ja päiväkoti. Järviniitunkatu 2 We walk to the "Terveyspolku" naturepath
The schedule suits the timetable of the bus number 8.  
Please bring your own tray for the berries and  wear clothes and shoes that are water safe. 
In cooperation with FinFami-Karjala organization.
No fees or registration needed.

Mushroom picking event

The starting point is in Uus-Lavola at a daycare center. Minkinkatu 1
Friday, Sept 4, 3:00–6:00 PM OR (choose one)
Saturday, Sept 5, 11:00 AM–2:00 PM
We look for edible mushrooms and get information. Please bring you own tray or basket.
Children who can manage the walk are also welcome. Strollers can not be used in the forest.
The fee is 5€  for those over 18 years. Children together with an adult can join without payment.

Hiking trip to Hämmäauteensuo

Thursday 24 September
Welcome to enjoy the beautiful Fall nature on Hämmäauteensuo swamp, about 10 km from Lappeenranta
We will get there using the public bus nr 300 (Jouko)  from Lappeenranta.
The ticket (2 Zones) is to be paid but the instructor is joining you on the bus.
Start at 2.31 pm from the Armada bus stop in direction Vainikkala.
Please arrive well on time!
The return bus to  Lappeenranta leaves at 5.22 pm.
f you come by car, meet us at the parking plot on Vanha Viipurintie 644
at 3 pm.We will walk about 2 km total. Please wear water safe clothes and shoes.
You can bring your own snacks or barbeque at the fireplace.
The trip is for both adults and children.
No registration fee or registration needed

Fishing

In Finland we have a fishing law.  According to the law a National Fisheries Management Fee must be paid by anyone (aged 18-64*) fishing except if you are ice fishing, or angling. Exception: at the age under 18 years or over 65 years don´t need to pay.
Fishing is allowed only in public areas. Here you can find information about restricted fishing areas:

The fishery fee is 47 € /year or 16 €/week or 6 €/day.
