Thermal cameras can be borrowed free of charge from the City Halls of Lappeenranta and Imatra. Thermal cameras can easily detect heat leaks or moisture damage in a building. The Energy Advisors of South Karelia provide guidance on how to use the cameras.

• the Lappeenranta City Hall customer service center Winkki (tel. 05 616 2220) and from
• the Imatra City Hall customer service point (tel. 020 617 2253).

The cameras come with clear instructions with example images.

Instructions for borrowing a thermal imaging camera

• Bring your identity document when you are coming to borrow the camera
• Reserve approximately 15–20 minutes for the instruction
• Do not ventilate on the day of thermal imaging
