The guidance and advice service Momentti, operating in the IsoKristiina shopping center, will be closed
The multilingual guidance and advice service Momentti will close its doors in the IsoKristiina shopping center on December 8th, 2025. The service will move to Suomi-piste service point in Lappeenranta, address Villimiehenkatu 2 B, 53100 Lappeenranta. In Imatra and other municipalities in South Karelia, the service points and hours will remain unchanged.
In the future, the service, especially aimed at those who have recently immigrated to South Karelia, will be implemented under the International House South Karelia -model under the name International House South Karelia, integration guidance and advice (in Finnish: Kansainvälinen Etelä-Karjala, kotoutumisen ohjaus ja neuvonta).
The service is part of the integration promotion services organized by the South Karelia Employment Area and providing information, advice and guidance regarding settling and living in Finland. Advice is firstly available to foreign-speaking people and immigrants throughout the South Karelia region.
The service is available without an appointment, with an appointment, by phone and by email. An interpreter will be used, if necessary. The service is free of charge.
