Ursula von der Leyen and Petteri Orpo met in Lappeenranta

President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and Prime Minister Petteri Orpo met in Lappeenranta and arrived at Lappeenranta Airport directly from the EU summit in Brussels.

After the press conference held at the airport, Mayor Tuomo Sallinen, Chair of the City Council Sanna Koskenranta, Chair of the City Board Joonas Grönlund, and Regional Director Satu Sikanen welcomed them at the Old Town Hall.
