Culture Pop-Up: A Dialogue Between Painting and Dance Improvisation September 18th and 19th

You are warmly welcome to join this creative workshop, where painting and dance improvisation awaken your creativity and offer tools for connecting with your authentic self.

The aim of the workshop is to create a free and safe space where participants can express themselves, nourish the soul, and explore new ways of experiencing how the body can move. Through two different artistic mediums — dance improvisation and painting — we invite you to experience and explore things from different points of view.

Ideally, the workshop will lead you into a state of flow, where freedom and self-expression can emerge without strict rules or pressure to achieve anything.

No previous experience in painting or dance is required. Everyone is welcome, whether you are completely new to these practices or already have a background in painting, dance, or other creative fields.

The content of both workshops is the same, so please sign up for only one of the two sessions. This way, we can give everyone who is interested an opportunity to participate.

The workshops are facilitated by dance artist and cultural producer Kirsi Tikka and dance artist and dance teacher Heidi Tiainen.

The workshop is free of charge and the of  of Lappeenranta enables the event.
