Breeze of Art painting workshop will be held on May 5th and 6th 2026.

The Breeze of Art is a low-threshold workshop focusing on presence; seeking the courage and joy to paint. Participants do not need to have any previous experience or knowledge of painting. The workshop is free of charge for participants.

The group meets twice on 5 May and 6 May from 14.00 to 15.30. At the Muusa Hall of the Lappeenranta Art Museum, Kristiinankatu 8–10, 53900 Lappeenranta.

The workshop will involve watercolour or acrylic painting. The materials are available on site. The workshop includes an introduction to the topic, painting and, if you wish, a story or shared painting process in pairs or groups. The participants can keep their paintings.  

Painting in a group encourages interaction and helps to empathise with the other person, and contributes to the ability to see things from a new perspective.   

The workshop will be led by Tea Kuikko, from Kuviopaja Kuikko Tmi
