Lappeenranta Increases Monitoring at School Premises in the City Centre Due to Disruptive Evening Behaviour
Parents and Guardians Reminded of Their Responsibilities and the Possible Consequences
According to information available to the city, disruptive behaviour has occurred not only at the Kimpinen school campus but also in other locations. These incidents have taken place after the school day, and the situation has not affected normal school operations.
The matter has been discussed in schools, and pupils are being guided on appropriate behaviour in a manner that takes their age and level of development into account.
The city emphasizes that responsibility for the situation lies with those engaging in disruptive behaviour and, in the case of minors, particularly with their parents and guardians. Through Wilma messages, the city has reminded parents and guardians of their responsibilities and encouraged them to discuss the matter with their children.
